This is not that type of topic. I want to know what your favorite anime of all time is. It could be the anime that was your gateway or something that touched you in the feels. For me, it has to be Neon Genesis Evangelion. The storyline is great. and this was my gateway anime. I know I know the ending was a bit messed up but the animation at the time was awesome. Senkusha Posted September 16, 2023 Share Posted September 16, 2023 My all time favorite anime is Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. It was because of this anime that I found my adoration of the entire Magical Girl genre, and it had a nice mix of science fiction with the magic, and coming of age plots. This anime series is actually one of those really long franchises where the characters grow, you see them change and develop from children into beautiful, capable women. And there's a ton of time gaps between the various seasons (with the exception of the first and second season), that I have a blast writing fan fiction about what could possibly happen during those time gaps. The characters have some depth to them as well, and are completly relatable. They don't exist in a bubble, in fact it was this anime that started touching on some of the more darker aspects of life that other anime began to adopt, such as child abuse. (In fact, I got so pissed off at one particular episode that I stopped watching the show for three weeks, until I realized that there had to be a damn good reason why such a deplorable, violent scene was included -- it was actually needed for the plot, and it helped to cement the character's personality.) Despite having seen this anime more than ten years ago now, it's still considered to be my favorite anime. I never get tired of watching it. OMG the house of the moon!! loved that anime well the ending to it lol never really watched it all the way through. UselessRaid Posted May 31 Share Posted May 31 Id say one of my favorites is Reborn! and also one piece, My main reason for liking reborn! is that its kind of like jjba part 5 but just completly diffrent, its similar as in they both deal with gangs but also is diffrent enough where its super enjoyable I just wished they did a dub because its not talked enough about here in the west!
