So I know there are a lot of those that have a "Favorite" anime and there are those that change as they watch more anime. This is not that type of topic. I want to know what your favorite anime of all time is. It could be the anime that was your gateway or something that touched you in the feels. For me, it has to be Neon Genesis Evangelion. The storyline is great. and this was my gateway anime. I know I know the ending was a bit messed up but the animation at the time was awesome. People mistake it as a Mech series but its not. you need to watch it to find out what it is about. I'm sure you will be impressed

What anime are you currently watching? is it a love story, or a mech anime? For me I am currently watching Higurashi When they Cry. Its one of the animes that I suggested you watch for the month of October! It's a Time Loop Anime. and each story starts off somewhat the same but it ends with a tragic ending!

How do you prefer your anime viewing experience? Do you watch your anime with the original Japanese audio? or do you prefer the anime to be dubbed in your native language? As for me, I suffer from albinoism it's a genetic disorder that basically makes you not see as good as most people. so I have to watch my anime dubbed. I would like to learn Japanese so I can watch it with the original audio but I haven't really had the time to do it lol

In the vibrant world of anime and manga, characters come alive with a kaleidoscope of personalities, each designed to evoke a unique range of emotions and connections. Amid this rich diversity of character archetypes, the concept of "Dere types" stands out as a fascinating and beloved phenomenon. Dere types are character tropes that define a character's behavior and emotions, often portraying distinct facets of their personality. These archetypes, defined by the suffix "dere" in their names, have become a cherished part of the anime and manga culture, shaping the way we understand and relate to the fictional individuals who populate these stories. Growing up in a musical household, I love to sing and play piano even though I am not that good at piano lol I get drawn to the musical anime. Ones like Love Live, Your Lie in April, Angel Beats!, and D4DJ First Mix (watched last night) So my question is to you, Have you had a passion growing up drawn you to a specific anime genre?

OK as I am an avid anime fan and seeing the original Rurouni Kenshin adaptation of this anime. I would have to say they have done it justice. The animation is spot on, you have Kenshin's little Kenshinisms, and The English voiceovers are really good, As of this writing the first two episodes have been dubbed so only time will tell how well our English-speaking dubbers can do. All in all the anime is off to a good start and I myself couldn't be happier to see it do so well. View full article

Now I am a grown man, I never thought I would see an anime that would make me cry as much as these did. Clannad and Clannad -After Story (I am lumping these into one anime ) The storyline behind this anime is heartbreaking but it has a good point. Angel Beats! This anime talks about death head-on and brings comedy into the mix. but the ending and the backstories behind some of the characters are so heartbreaking. Then there is Shuffle! I loved this anime, It's a harem anime but the ending will have you crying like a baby! So what anime has made you cry like a baby?

When you first discovered anime/manga, how old were you? I was (breaks out a pencil, paper, sliderule..... aligning the starcharts...... ) 32 or 33 when I first found my love of anime with Ranma 1/2. Then through a fan fiction, I found Tenchi Muyo!.

If you could live in any one anime or manga world (setting) with the associated characters, what show would you choose to live in and why? What characters would you mostly associate with. Note that you're not becoming any of the established characters in the series, you'll still be you. I really like the world of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, with the possibility of magic and the awesome high tech and inter-dimensional travel, yet a good amount of the setting still takes place on Earth. Would I even be considered to join the Time and Space Administration Bureau though? I would love to be able to combat evil forces alongside the likes of Nanoha Takamachi and Fate T.…

To me its all about the hype. If I walk out in public with an anime shirt and I have someone ask me what anime is that from? That's not a mainstream anime because no one has heard about it. on the other hand there is the "OMG you watch Demon Slayer?!?!?!" or the "Oh I like your shirt" meaning they have seen the anime and understand. Stuff like Naruto DBZ SAO are all mainstream to me and it irritates me to no end "Have you seen this anime?" Who hasn't seen any of the anime you see on Adult Swim.. So what do you think is a way overrated anime that is in the mainstream?
